This refund policy is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a legally binding contract unless expressly agreed upon in a service agreement. SafAr reserves the right to update, modify, or terminate this policy at any time without prior notice.

All refund decisions are subject to review and approval by SafAr management. By using our services, you agree to abide by this policy and acknowledge that individual outcomes may vary depending on specific circumstances.

Nothing in this policy shall limit your rights under applicable New Zealand consumer protection laws. In case of a dispute, the governing law will be that of New Zealand.

Refund Policy

At SafAr – Sustainable Travel by Design, we are committed to providing reliable and flexible transport services. We understand travel plans can change, and our refund policy is designed to be clear and fair.

✅ Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service

  • Trips cancelled by SafAr due to vehicle issues or unforeseen circumstances

  • Mistaken bookings reported within 24 hours of purchase

❌ Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before the trip

  • No-shows or failure to be at the pickup location

  • Partially used services, such as early drop-offs

🚗 Chauffeur & Private Hire

  • Cancel 72+ hours in advance → Full refund

  • Cancel 24–72 hours in advance → 50% refund

  • Cancel under 24 hours → No refund

🚐 Intercity Shared Rides

  • Cancel 48+ hours in advance → Full refund

  • Cancel 24–48 hours in advance → 50% refund

  • Cancel under 24 hours → No refund

🔁 Rescheduling Policy

We offer one free reschedule per booking if:

  • Requested at least 24 hours before the trip

  • Alternative date or route is available

💳 Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.
